The file size of any DSLR over 10-12 megapixel will impact your overall workflow due to the supporting hardware you need to efficiently get through thousands of images. Larger files translates into larger hard drives, longer processing, larger memory cards, and the list goes on. Something like the Nikon D3 or the Canon 1D Mark III is perfect for these uses. However, for all of you studio/portrait/nature shooters, this might be the dark side's ultimate new flagship for you.
MSRP is said to be around $7999...So who's going to be first on the block to pick one up?
